Jeffrey Berk

For over 30 years Jeff Berk has been developing, coordinating and supervising general and special education programs in educational settings that include public, private and religious schools, summer camps, children's hospitals and residential special education school districts. He has taught academic and artistic subjects at all K-12 grade levels, and served as a school district curriculum leader, instructor of professional development seminars, and coordinator of building and district reading and math programs.
Mr. Berk is a Massachusetts Public School Certified School District Administrator for Special Education K-12 and Teacher of Mild/Moderate Disabilities K-8. He is a certified New York State School District Administrator K-12, Teacher of Special Education K-8, and Teacher of Music K-12. Mr. Berk is also a Certified Chairperson of the Committee on Special Education in New York.
Mr. Berk received an Ed.M. in Supervision of Special Education programs from Columbia University in 2008, an M.A. in Educational Administration and Supervision from New York University in 1993, and a B.A. in Music from Boston University in 1990.
In his continuing effort and enduring passion for the academic, social and emotional development of children, Mr. Berk created L.E.G.O. - Learning to Engage, Gain & Obtain in 2016. His L.E.G.O. studio is located in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina.
